How much does BeeLine cost?

BeeLine tools are available for several platforms. Here’s the cost breakdown:

Browser plugin (Chrome/Firefox/Brave): Use BeeLine for free on your favorite websites. For unlimited use, upgrade to BeeLine Pro for $2/month for one browser or $4.50/month for 5 browsers. You can subscribe annually to get discounted pricing.

PDF plugin (Chrome/Brave): $5/month for up to 4 browsers. You can subscribe annually to get one month free.

iOS app: Our award-winning iOS app lets you save news articles and other web content to your personal reading list, where you can read it with our patented technology and other text formatting options ($4.99). There is an additional in-app purchase for viewing text-based PDFs ($9.99). But you can also use BeeLine on iOS for free, with our iOS extension for Safari. iOS purchases sync across all of your iOS devices, and all purchases are one-time, not subscription.

You can also use BeeLine for free on the Bookshare platform, Reading Is Fundamental’s Literacy Central platform, and other supported websites. If you have a favorite website that you’d like to see offer the BeeLine functionality, please send them a feature request with your suggestion!

I have a browser plugin subscription. How do I add/substitute a new browser?

Just use the form on this page to get your account code, which you can use to register your new browser.

I’m on the Worker Bee (1 browser) plan but want to upgrade to the Honey Bee (5-browser) plan. How do I do that?

We can take care of that for you—just shoot us an email and we’ll take care of the rest!

Do you have discounted education pricing?

We offer discounted education pricing that starts around $3 per student per year for a single class, and which is even less expensive for school and district licenses. You can see all the details here, or email us if you have other questions.

Is BeeLine supported by educational research?

BeeLine is supported by educational research studies that have been done with students from first grade up through high school. All of the BeeLine studies were designed and executed by independent educators, and we did not pay for any of the studies. Can I beta-test new BeeLine tools before they are released?

Yes—you can sign up as a beta tester here and indicate what platforms you are interested in trying out.
